Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 2, 2026
Glenwood Homes is committed to making glenwoodhomes.com accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
Measures We Take
- Semantic page structure with landmarks, headings, and a “skip to content” link for screen reader and keyboard users.
- Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, including community and home photography.
- A color palette designed and checked for sufficient contrast between text and backgrounds.
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences — background videos, parallax, and decorative animation are disabled when your device requests reduced motion.
- Clearly labeled forms with descriptive error messages.
- Responsive layouts that support zoom and text resizing without loss of content.
Conformance Status
The Site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: most content meets the standard, and we are actively working on the portions that do not. Some third-party components — such as interactive community lot maps, the chat widget, and embedded listing media — are provided by outside vendors and may not fully conform. We take accessibility into account when selecting vendors and raise issues with them when we find them.
Compatibility
The Site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) and with common assistive technologies, including VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS screen readers.
Feedback and Assistance
If you have difficulty using any part of the Site, or would like information from the Site in an alternative format, please email us at info@glenwoodhomes.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line, or reach out through our contact page. We aim to respond within five business days, and our team is glad to assist you by phone or email with anything the Site provides — including community information, floor plans, pricing, and tour scheduling.
Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is part of our design system and our development process. We review the Site with a combination of automated tools and manual checks as new features are built, and we continue to improve accessibility as standards and technology evolve.
